![]() This took place at 10:30 a.m., in broad daylight with multiple witnesses watching. It took Swap Shop security 30-40 minutes to respond to our request for emergency assistance. She is now recovering in the hospital with a fractured pelvis and multiple non-life threatening injuries. While shopping in open public, my mother was attacked from behind, knocked unconsious, battered and robbed. My parents visited the Swap Shop on 1/31/13 during there vacation. Will NEVER return and hope they go out of business or get new management!! In their email response they took no blame and were extremely nasty to me and told me “good luck with my dispute” and that I was basically lying about what the person up front at the gate told me about the previews-why would I make that up? How about taking responsibility and correcting your staff? What a disgusting way to do business. Also saying $5 daily rate on the website is confusing and false advertising-it makes it seems like that’s for movie prices, NOT vendors. Also, it says to show something on their website to get a free ticket and because I didn’t print it (it says to print in SMALL letters) they wouldn’t accept it-really? It should have been honored. I specifically asked the person up front how long the previews were and was told 15 minutes, yet the movie started after only 5 minutes and due to being in line at the concession stand I missed 5 minutes of the movie. ![]()
